					<title>Running IE7 and IE6</title>
<description>Microsoft has released a solution to allow users to run IE6 through a virtual machine. This will allow testers to install Internet Explorer 7 and still test IE6.

You can find a description on the msdn blogs.
Microsoft is getting more aggressive in pushing the IE7 update. Its coming in via the automatic update site now and installations are going to start appearing. According to the Counter, IE7 is up to 12% with IE6 at 70%. Its climbing slowly and the next two months should see a higher rate with this update push.

Make sure you use Conditional Comments to send specific changes to IE6 or IE7. I blogged about it in July.

<title>Microsoft releases list of IE CSS fixes</title>
<description>Yesterday, Microsoft released a list of the fixes that will go into Internet Explorer 7.

Its an interesting list to go over. They&apos;ve fixed a lot of the bugs that are posted on Position Is Everything. Please note though that all the problems will still be there in Quirks Mode, so when writing for IE7, it is going to be extremely important to use the correct DocType to allow IE to render in Standards Mode.

I think its a promising start. IE will in no way, shape or form have the support for CSS 2.1 that Firefox, Safari or Opera do, but hey, maybe someday.</description>
